How do you pronounce picnic-ez™?
(pik-nik- z), sounds like picnic-ease,
which it is.
Why do you call the picnic-ez™ a picnic table cover (or covers) system rather
than a picnic table cloth (or cloths)?
We have built the picnic-ez™ to completely replace all the table cloths that rip,
tear, and are cumbersome to use on a picnic table. All the clips, rocks, staples (yes, staples),
and other techniques that are out there are now obsolete.
Does it fit thick cement and metal tables?
Yes, picnic-ez™ models fit most 6’ and 8’ tables.
We purposefully oversized each cover allowing an extra 3 to 4 inches on the length
and width to accommodate thicker tables and benches.
How do you clean the picnic-ez™ picnic table cover system?
A damp cloth or sponge is generally sufficient to wipe off the daily dirt, spills, and
food from the picnic-ez™ picnic table cover system. The nylon
pack cloth material naturally repels liquids, dirt, mildew, and other grime. You can
also wash the picnic-ez™ picnic table cover system in a washing
machine but only in cold water with a gentle cycle. Do not use a high spin cycle
for drying. Allow to air dry ONLY! Do not use a heat dryer as this can damage the
picnic-ez™. Repeated washings can affect the factory treatment
for water repellency. You can spray or soak your picnic-ez™
with a water repellent treatment to rebuild the water resistance.
How the picnic-ez™ is treated will certainly dictate its
durability and cleanliness. picnic-ez™ only recommends air
drying. Do not dry the picnic-ez™ in any other way (no machine
dryer or air dryers.) Never dry clean the picnic-ez™ or use
bleaches of any kind. With proper care the picnic-ez™ picnic
table cover system will last a very long time!
What’s so great about nylon?
Nylon is excellent for the picnic-ez™ picnic table cover
system because it’s incredibly light but also strong and sturdy. Nylon is resistant
to abrasion, rot, and mildew. Nylon is a very breathable fabric, which allows moisture
to pass through and helps the picnic-ez™ picnic table cover
system dry quickly. The nylon pack cloth used in making the picnic-ez™
is factory treated with urethane to make the picnic-ez™ picnic
table cover system water and spill resistant.
Will an 8’ table cover fit a 6’ table?
Yes, there will be some overhang on the ends but the adjustable elasticized bungee
cord system will keep the picnic-ez™ in place even in the
strongest winds.
What about the 4’ tables some campgrounds are getting?
We recommend covering 4’ tables with the 6’ picnic-ez™
picnic table cover system. There will be some overhang on the ends but the adjustable

place even in the strongest winds.
What about fading?
Our suggestion is that you remove the picnic-ez™ picnic table
cover system when not in use or you might just end up cleaning what the critters
leave behind. However, if you take a look at our testimonials you’ll see that
some folks like to leave it out for long periods of time and have not experienced
significant fading.
Do the dark colors absorb too much heat?
Some colors that the picnic-ez™ picnic table cover system
is available in might tend to absorb more heat than others. However, when tested
they have not been too warm to sit on. That is another great benefit of using nylon
pack cloth since it is breathable and dissipates heat quickly.
How do I keep the picnic-ez™ clean while in the stuff bag?
When packing the picnic-ez™ picnic table cover system in
the free stuff bag, the best way to keep the dirt and table grime off the top part
of the covers is to fold each cover in the middle lengthwise with the backs touching
and then roll them like a sleeping bag. That way the backs are together and the
tops are kept clean.
Is the picnic-ez™ heat resistant?
No, the picnic-ez™ picnic table cover system is not heat
resistant and could be damaged if exposed to direct heat from a fire, grill, or
dryer, etc.
How much does the picnic-ez™ picnic table cover system weigh?
The picnic-ez™ picnic table cover system is extremely light
weight even though it is very durable. This is because of the nylon pack cloth material
used in constructing each cover. Both sizes offered (6’ and 8’) weigh
less than 3 lbs. including the stuff bag.
How long does it take to receive a picnic-ez™ picnic table cover system when ordered?
Most orders ship the very next day and depending on where the order is being shipped to can take from 2 to 5
business days to ship. If your color and size is not currently available you will recieve a call from
us with an expected ship date if shipping will be delayed for 5 business days or more.
